Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Products

Dyplast Products produces large blocks of Expanded Polystyrene that can be subsequently transformed into EPS_insulation as well as GeoFoam, Packaging, and Floatation products. Insulation comes in various configurations and densities, including unfaced flat sheets, insulated panels and board insulation, tapered insulation panels, and Holey-Board.

EPS products are easily fabricated to meet specific design and dimensional requirements. Further, because of its light weight and durability it is easily stored, handled, or re-configured.

EPS costs less than competitive products such as extruded polystyrene (XPS) while delivering comparable value.

What Is EPS?

EPS (expanded polystyrene) is a closed cell, lightweight, resilient, foamed plastic providing a host of unique properties.

With a compressive strength between 10 and 35 psi for most construction applications, EPS can be molded to meet specific application requirements.

Where energy efficiency and cost effectiveness have long been primary design considerations, architects have made EPS the dominant thermal insulation.

When applied to foundations, walls and roofs, it has a successful history of efficient use in industrial, commercial, cold storage and residential buildings.

Additionally, EPS is often used for low-cost creative solutions in architectural, packaging and flotation applications.
