MIAMI - (January 1, 2008) - Dyplast Products, LLC today celebrated 2008 - - Dyplast's 50th year of continuous operation under the Dyplast trademark.
The Dyplast name entered the insulation arena in 1958, marking the focus on improving closed cell insulation technology. Since then, dramatic improvements have been made in the quality of expanded polystyrene and polyisocyanurate products for commercial and industrial applications. A number of industry "firsts" followed, including the development of bunstock polyisocyanurate with the highest thermal efficiency in the industry. This 0.18 aged K-factor of Dyplast's ISO-C1 (2.0 and 2.5 lb/ft3 densities) raised the bar for thermal conductivity expectations for polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation.
