Dyplast was very pleased to participate in the recently completed Lot 11 Skate Park in Miami. This skatepark was made by converting an old parking lot beneath the I-95 corridor into 45,000 square feet of a vibrant and free place for skateboarders, skaters, and non-motor scooters to practice their tricks.

Dyplast Products ISO-C1® Polyisocyanurate Rigid Foam for Pipe Insulation in LNG facilities

Numerous energy-sector articles are reporting significantly reduced energy demand caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the historic fall in oil price. As a result, Financial Investment Decisions (FID) on LNG projects are delaying decisions on dozens of proposed projects.

Dyplast has just released its latest Technical Bulletin comparing elastomeric insulation with polyisocyanurate insulation in refrigeration pipe applications. This is a rather comprehensive presentation and discussion of facts relevant to the selection of either elastomeric or polyiso in the general temperature range from -40°F to +40°F, yet the conclusions can be extrapolated to other temperature ranges, and process applications such as food & beverage.

Dyplast is now issuing its latest Technical Bulletin 0620 comparing elastomeric insulation to polyisocyanurate in process applications such as food, beverage, and pharmaceutical. This TB is complementary to Dyplast’s May Technical Bulletin 0520 comparing the same insulants in refrigeration pipe applications. This sister-bulletin was necessary since process applications are different.

Dyplast recently released two extensive Technical Bulletins on comparisons between elastomeric and polyisocyanurate insulants in refrigeration and process applications (Technical Bulletins 0520 and 0620, respectively), since there are some differences.

Dyplast is publishing its latest Technical Bulletin 0720 on insulation on below-ambient temperature piping, and how it can often be mission critical. 

Dyplast’s Qwik Guides are intended to provide a brief, one-page summary of important technical issues. The objective of this Qwik Guide is to address the temperature range [generally from ambient temperature up to +350°F (176°C)] where Polyisocyanurate and Calcium Silicate may compete.
